Innovative Hair and Body Company to Help Consumers Beautify Themselves and the Environment

SAN FRANCISCO - July 1, 2014 - PRLog -- July 1, 2014: Cause™ Hair and Body Care, a San Francisco-based company, will launch their eco-friendly hair and body products on July 1.  The organic shampoo maker, who is on a mission to help consumers change the world by changing their shampoo, will introduce their product line for the first time on crowdfunding site Indiegogo.com.

The company’s products will be available for 45 days on indiegogo.com in an effort to share the company’s unique mission and products with the site’s millions of contributors. The company will also seek to raise $5,000 to help build their brand and broaden their product offerings.

What differentiates Cause™ Hair and Body Care from other organic product makers is their commitment to keeping both consumers and the environment clean. They back this commitment by earmarking 50 percent of all their profits for environment-friendly charities.

“We started this effort because there aren't any brands that offer the types of products we have with an authentic mission to help the environment,” says Cause™ Hair and Body Care Co-Founder Greg Yeadon. “Our donation initiative isn't a gimmick or campaign - it's our lifeblood.   We’re not using charities to help us support profits; we’re using our profits to help support charities.”

Cause™ Hair and Body Care currently offers three organic products: Shampoo with Tea Tree & Peppermint, Conditioner with Tea Tree & Peppermint, and Hand & Body Lotion with Organic Aloe. All three products are made with at least 70 percent organic ingredients and are free of parabens, phthalates, sulfates, synthetic colors and fragrances.

Crowdfunders who donate at least $15 to the campaign will receive a 12 oz. bottle of Cause™ Hair and Body Care’s Hand & Body Lotion with Organic Aloe. Other product packages are available for various donation levels at http://indiegogo.com/at/cause.

When their crowdfunding campaign ends, Cause™ Hair and Body Care will sell its shampoo, conditioner and lotion on its website at www.causeconsumer.com. Fifty percent of all profits will be donated to support the restoration and protection of the San Francisco Bay. The Bay’s waters, salt marshes, and mudflats, which are threatened by development and pollution, serve as a wetland habitat for many birds and marine species. As a San Francisco-based company, Cause™ Hair and Body Care is committed to donating close to home and then spreading out to other markets where they sell their products.
