Extreme Temperatures Pose Danger to Children from Hot Car Seats

HENDERSON, Nev. - July 1, 2014 - PRLog -- Henderson, NV July 1, 2014 – SwaggyBear LLC, As temperatures across the southwest reach extreme levels, children can be put in harm’s way from their own car seat.  Placing children in a hot car seat can put them in potential danger of being burned by the hot seat belt buckle.  In addition they can become overheated and sweaty from the hot air trapped behind them.

One mom set out to make life safer for children being placed in hot car seats by inventing a car seat cooling pad, the Kool Seat.  The Kool Seat keeps children protected from unintentional burns caused from the hot metal buckles by cooling the buckles and car seat while the seat is vacant. Parents gain piece-of-mind their child will be safe, cool, and comfortable and children no longer fight getting in their car seat.

Inventor, Christi Kale, says the Kool Seat was crucial when she ventured out with her young son during the summer months.  “My son’s car seat was so hot, I was not about to subject him to such extreme heat or risk harming him.”
