Announcing Professional Learning Management System Enhancements for Educators in Leading Districts

The PLMS user interface enhancements were driven by market research and usability studies and shaped by client feedback. Truenorthlogic’s PLMS visual and functional upgrades were focused on educators taking ownership of their professional development through managing and tracking their growth.  A new set of search tools offers a smarter and faster way for educators to find and interact with learning content required for effective professional development.  The baseline multi-string keyword search has been simplified and coupled with easy-to-use sorting, filtering, and faceted navigation features allowing educators to efficiently navigate their way through high volumes of data to find relevant content with just a few clicks.

The redesigned learning opportunity catalog supports an easier-to-use process when searching, displaying, and interacting with learning opportunities in the context of professional development. Educators can easily navigate each learning opportunity, view at-a-glance or more detailed information about the opportunity, and register for the learning opportunity. Status and rating visual cues highlight whether an educator has completed or is in the process of taking a learning opportunity, or completed and not yet rated the learning opportunity. A 5-star rating summary by learning opportunity allows educators to realize a consensus value according to their colleagues.
