Cheshire-based d3t is Flying High as it Approaches its Third Anniversary

Fast Growing IT Company set to Celebrate Profitability, Growth and Doubling the Size of its Technical Team

RUNCORN, U.K. - June 9, 2014 - PRLog -- Despite being founded at the height of the worst recession in living memory d3t, a fast-growing IT company that is a unique source of high-tech development and programming expertise, is approaching its third birthday on the crest of a wave.

By late summer the £750,000 turnover Runcorn-based business, launched by two highly qualified redundancy victims, will have experienced three profitable years with 50 per cent growth and will have doubled the size of its technical team thanks to ever increasing demand for its services, especially from overseas.

Now d3t is expected to move from the fast lane into the overtaking lane thanks to a reputation for excellence, a client list that reads like a Who’s Who of the Game Development world and regular approaches from a wide range of companies who simply want to buy into their IT know-how.

“We have a wide range of expertise in-house that client companies can benefit from,” said Jamie Campbell, d3t’s Commercial Director and co-founder of the company. “Although we have vast experience in the computer games sector, our expertise covers a huge area including business-to-business software development.”

Jamie’s co-founder and Development Director of d3t is Steve Powell, who he has worked with since 2001. Both were founders of Warrington-based Juice Games in 2003, which later became THQ Digital Studios UK after an American buy-out in 2006.

However, it was Jamie and Steve’s redundancy from the firm in 2011 that led them to launch their own business.

“We had the idea of forming d3t, a business which would offer our combined skills to a wider audience in the business world. In fact the name d3t is an acronym for designing, developing and delivering excellence in technology to our clients,” explained Jamie.

Not surprisingly many of d3t’s first clients came from the gaming world. One of their first commissions was to work on Cold Beam Games’ Beat Hazard Ultra and that was followed by many other popular games.

“At d3t we are technophiles not just gamers, so we were delighted when we were asked to work as technology partners for a vehicle tracking organization developing smart phone apps,” added Jamie.

“With career backgrounds including business software development and embedded systems, we knew d3t was about more than games and as time went by we attracted clients from all sectors.

“Despite the plaudits we have received for the work we have done, we are often barred from revealing the detail of some of our best achievements because of client confidentiality - but we’re happy to work covertly if it is the right thing for our clients.” added Jamie, speaking from his home in Warrington.

“The message is now getting across to clients and potential clients that d3t is a unique source of high -tech development and programming expertise that is available to companies of all types and all sizes.

“We currently provide outsourced development services to companies in France, the Netherlands, Poland, Italy and Australia and our secure location in Cheshire means our very broad and deep skill set is available to assist clients right across the UK."
