| ![]() Director Of Controversial "the Record Keeper" Series Signs With Steady On To Launch New SiteBy: STEADY ON PRODUCTIONS TRK was created by Jason Satterlund, along with executive producer Garrett Caldwell and co-writer Rajeev Sigamoney. The series was originally inspired by “The Great Controversy” However, the Seventh-day Adventist world church leadership announced in April their decision to suspend the release of the 11-part series, after its Biblical Research Institute (BRI) claimed they found “problematic and theologically inaccurate matters raised.” While Bible studies had been planned to accompany the series and encourage further study, according to the BRI, “the content would have put the church in the difficult position of endorsing the misrepresentation of biblical truth while at the same time offering studies that conflicted with the dramatic presentations.” Despite the church leadership’s decision, church members and people of all ages and belief systems around the world are still rallying for the series to be released, going as far as to set up a Facebook page titled “Save The Record Keeper” (https://www.facebook.com/ “The demand for our series has been so overwhelming that we are determined to make some good come of this.” Satterlund explained, “which is why we’ve signed with the audience development agency Steady On to help organize our huge global community of fans to support new feature film and original series projects.” Details of Satterlund’s projects in development are not publicly available yet; however, fans can expect high production value films set in the angelic realm, with universal spiritual themes and a notable international cast.
