Maxymiser Supported ACM ICPC - the Most Popular Programming Contest in the World

DNIPROPETROVSK, Ukraine - May 28, 2014 - PRLog -- ACM International Collegiate Programming Contest is an annual activity of the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) that provides college students from over 91 countries on six continents with an opportunity to sharpen and demonstrate their excellent team work, programming skills, and problem-solving talent.

Over 100 students of six Universities of Dnipropetrovsk Region had the opportunity to demonstrate their abilities to work as an integral team and solve complex algorithms of mathematical programming atThe First Stage of Dnipropetrovsk Region, Ukraine, South-Eastern Europe hosted by Dnipropetrovsk National University, Ukraine.

“This Contest called Battle of Logic, Strategy and Mental Endurance. The winner is a team that can find the best solution with limited resource. These skills are the most demanded in today’s Global Business World”, said Alexander Khizha, Docent of the Department of Computer Technologies, Dnipropetrovsk National University.

Maxymiser has been supporting ACM International Collegiate Programming Contest for several years. Ivan Poyda,General Manager at Maxymiser-Ukraine,greeted participants and Steering Committee. “I am very pleased to support young talents”, said Ivan Poyda. “I am absolutely confident this global competition is nurturing new generations of global talent in the science and art of information technology and locally this is the best contribution into regional IT ecosystem development”. Ivan wished prosperity to ACM society in Ukraine and headed participants and couches to set ambitious goals and win ACM IPPC World Finals, demonstrating talent of Ukrainian students in computing.
