W. H. Leary Is Happy To Be Walking Like MADD

TINLEY PARK, Ill. - May 27, 2014 - PRLog -- TINLEY PARK, IL– Local company W. H. Leary (http://www.whleary.com) is taking a stand with Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD), an organization founded to stop drunk driving, support the victims of this crime and prevent underage drinking. The 5K walk will take place in Homer Glen on Sunday, June 8^th  at 9:00am. With over $22,000 raised so far, Leary, along with other local presenting sponsors, hope to reach their event fundraising goal of $50,000. The proceeds will go towards providing “emotional support and assistance with medical and legal struggles that follow a drunk driving crash, supporting heroes in law enforcement who work to keep our roads safe,” and other initiatives that support victims and their families.

The significance of this 5K is close to the heart for Leary after an employee lost his life because of a drunk driver in 2012. Eighteen employees from the company have already volunteered to form the Leary Olympians.
