Pangolin Laser Systems Incorporates Visualization via Capture Polar, into their Laser Show Software

ORLANDO, Fla. - May 22, 2014 - PRLog -- Pangolin Laser Systems, Inc. a world-leader in the development of laser show software and control hardware, today announced their official cooperation with Capture Sweden, creators of the Capture Polar visualization software.

With more and more lighting designers integrating lasers into their shows, the need for laser show visualization software has grown substantially. To address this growing demand, Pangolin has partnered with Capture Sweden, to connect Pangolin’s BEYOND laser show software to send commands to the Capture Polar software, for complete visualization of a laser show.

This new feature set inside of the BEYOND and Capture Polar software programs allows you to visualize all types of different laser displays, including beam shows, laser graphic shows, and laser mapping effects. You can import renderings of your show setup into Capture Polar, and then place laser projectors within the software in accordance with how they would be positioned in real life. Then you can create your laser show inside of BEYOND, and output the shows through Capture Polar, for complete show visualization.

In addition to this, you can also incorporate other lighting and stage effects into Capture Polar (including LED lighting, truss, staging rigs, etc.) to give a full-scale presentation to a potential client, without the need to actually setup your show, thus saving time, money and resources.

To provide clients with solid examples of what is possible when using BEYOND together with Capture Polar, Pangolin and Capture have created an informative tutorial video, where they visualize a complete laser show inside of Capture Polar, displaying laser beam effects, graphics, and laser mapping effects all simultaneously, with step by step instructions on how to use these features for future show scenarios you may encounter.
