Strong growth for Breuckmann GmbH

BRAUNSCHWEIG, Germany - May 21, 2014 - PRLog -- For the second time in a row, Breuckmann has increased orders by about 30 % compared to the previous year. The leading provider of high precision white light scanners has achieved 28 % of growth in 2012 and 32 % in 2013, compared to the respective previous year. Thus, order volume has more than doubled since the acquisition of the company by AICON 3D Systems GmbH. Especially big contributions were made by the Breuckmann subsidiary in Shanghai, founded in 2012, and the AICON subsidiary in Plymouth, Michigan.

The Breuckmann white light scanners are mainly applied for industrial purposes such as inspection and reverse engineering. Especially the stereoSCAN R16 sets standards – it offers the highest sensor resolution available on the market. In the business field bodymetry and life science, the dental scanner d-STATION for fully automated digitization of dental models, casts and implants makes a big contribution to the company’s growth.
