HeroBox Sends Therapy Supplies to Tuskegee Veterans

 
PEACHTREE CITY, Ga. - May 16, 2014 - PRLog -- The HeroBox team put together an assortment of art supplies and hygiene bags for aging and injured veterans in Tuskegee, Alabama. Art materials, such as drawing paper, paint, brushes, and colored pencils were sent for art therapy purposes. Hygiene bags were highly requested and included all the essentials as well as some bonus items.
HeroBox’s Renewed Heroes Program caters to the needs of aging and injured U.S. veterans and specializes in providing them art and music therapy supplies. Creative therapy programs provide our veterans with a safe, supportive experience to help ease transition, confusion, depression and fear. HeroBox seeks to provide customized support for veterans and service members while they are away from home.

Herobox is a nonprofit organization with a mission to provide the physical and moral support our heroes need while they are away from home. We are able to achieve this mission through programs that are designed to engage America’s greatest resource—the people.
