Some considerations need to be taken when build a DWM platform

1.A stratgic place to serve the oil and gas industry,where to build and how many square meters.

2.The treatment equipment needed ,such as the vertical cuttings dryer ,decanter centrifuge ,or thermal desorption unit or TCC and solidification unit or filtration unit,trucks and cuttings skips.

SGL-01 cuttings dryer is the key equipment for drilling waste management , R&D work on SGL-01 cuttings dryer starts in 2008,after 3 years of testing it was successfully launched into the marketplace and a national patent design was applied for.FD Petrol’s drilling waste management system is being widely used throughout China by Shell Oil China, CNPC-GWDC, Xinjiang Oilfield and many others. The system has achieved approximately 4% OOC for both OBM and SBM.

4.Mud lab

The Major activity applied  is the OBM Cutting treatment as the yard is equipped with six concretestorage pits isolated by PVC to avoid any oil spillage, of total storage capacity 14,760 bbl. The blue squareindicates TDU location which is utilized in the OBM Cutting treatment, TDU is considered as one of the most efficient treatment methods available.

Water Based Mud Drilling Waste Management system is applied to treat the drilling waste from the solids control system (http://www.fdpetrol.com/solids-control) and drilling jobsite sewage, to achieve closed loop and zero discharge standard.

Solidification and stabilization as methods of treatment and disposal of
drill cuttings and other drilling wastes. General rules for effective stabilization indicatethat the salts must be less than 4 percent of the waste by weight, while the oil contentmust be below 25 percent by weight. It is therefore important to control the quality of thewaste produced at the rig site, to minimize the use of reagents, thus reducing costs andthe environmental impact.
