Legacy Guided Imagery Programs Released In Proprietary Player Format

SANTA FE, N.M. - May 9, 2014 - PRLog -- Desert Heart Multimedia, the company behind The Healing Waterfall website and program by that same name, has formed an alliance with publisher Findaway World. Findaway World specializes in offering audio programs in two major formats.

In one format, Findaway programs are offered in pure downloadable MP3 form. These are distributed directly to libraries, the military, and other outlets, where they can be downloaded to end users through subscription or pay per play models.

But Findaway also manufactures and distributes a proprietary audio player called the Playaway, preloaded with individual programs and sold one by one. Playaway units can hold audio books, self help programs, or in the case of Desert Heart Multimedia’s offerings, guided imagery and guided meditation programs.

The Healing Waterfall website houses the full library of Desert Heart Multimedia offerings, including over 65 titles on personal growth, self help, spirituality, wellness, and deep relaxation. Desert Heart president and guided imagery author Max Highstein approached Findaway World late last year to see if the two might have common ground for an alliance. Findaway responded by picking up Desert Heart’s entire catalog for distribution through their outlets. Of particular interest were titles on PTSD and recovery from trauma, as well as the Healing Waterfall relaxation programs. Findaway felt these programs would be an especially good fit for their military market.

Additionally, Findaway picked up several dozen titles for their Playaway audio player format. The unique Playaway device is made for consumers who do not feel comfortable using more complicated iPod devices and the like, and want a simple approach to playing one title on one player. Easy to navigate physical buttons on the small palm sized unit make it very simple to use.

Titles released by Max Highstein on the Playaway player include:

Clearing Cancer, Making Peace With God, Guided Imagery for Healing, 12-Step Guided Meditations, Walking With Jesus By The Sea, Releasing Pain, Releasing Fear, Sleep Well Tonight, Your Ideal Job, The Healing Waterfall, Visiting The Saints, and Guided Imagery for PTSD.

Highstein is also the author of a popular multimedia program in developing the intuition, entitled Intuition Retreat.
