Starkey Mortgage Adds East Regional Builder Manager to National Builder Division

RALEIGH, N.C. - May 14, 2014 - PRLog -- Starkey Mortgage’s National Builder Division announces the addition of its new East Regional Builder Manager, Jonathan Hayward. Hayward joined the team earlier this month.

Hayward brings nearly 20 years of experience working in the mortgage and home building industry to the National Builder Division. His initial efforts at Starkey Mortgage (WR Starkey Mortgage, LLP NMLSR#2146) will concentrate on the development of the East Region, encouraging new business and cultivating existing relationships with builders, loan officers and real estate agents. It is the mission of the National Builder Division to remove uncertainty and stress from the home financing process, and Hayward has been brought on board to assist in achieving this goal in the East Region, which includes North Carolina, Maryland, Virginia and DC.

After college, Hayward began his housing career as a sales consultant, which he later parlayed into sales and marketing for a top-rated Southeast home builder. Since early 2012, he has served as the Regional Vice President of Sales and Marketing, responsible for developing and managing a complete start-up division in the Raleigh/Durham market.  The broad scope of responsibility in the position included land acquisition, strategic market planning, business development, sales forecasting, marketing and pricing.

When asked what brought him to Starkey Mortgage, Hayward remarked, “I know how homebuilders and onsite sales agents interact with mortgage loan officers, and I hope to use that knowledge to further enhance Starkey's growth in the East region.”

Hayward has a proven marketing and sales record, having successfully developed new marketing initiatives, opened new markets and introduced brand awareness for his clients. With a focus on nurturing existing relationships and expanding regions, Hayward has consistently accomplished company initiatives and exceeded sales goals.

Hayward currently resides in Wake Forest, NC. When not in the office, he spends time with his wife and four children, enjoying family activities, sports and reading.
