Melodyfusion.com to Hold Contest for Best Photo, Winner Receives Prize Worth $100

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - May 6, 2014 - PRLog -- In April melodyfusion.com, a musician social media website, began holding monthly contests to reward participation. Last month, for the April contest the challenge was to post the most gigs. The winner was Joseph Lim, who posted a whopping 134 gigs for April alone, and won a Bluetooth water resistant beach speaker. In response to winning he said, "I would like to thank everyone at melody fusion for giving me the opportunity to win great prizes. It is through this that I was able to discover your awesome website and community of great musicians."

Musicians are encouraged to join the website, and the contest. To enter the contest one only needs to create a profile and upload a picture. On May 31st Melodyfusion.com will determine a winner subjectively, and announce it on their website. The winner will receive a prize worth $100 retail value, and bragging rights. The prize is yet to be determined but generally is relevant in the music community.

This contest is being run alongside another contest they have in which the member who posts the most number of entries wins a brand new guitar, bass, keyboard, or electric drum kit. Entries can include uploading a photo, uploading a gig, "Idolizing" another member, or participating in any of the available features the website has to offer.

Melody Fusion is trying to use incentives such as contests in order to gain members, and grow its community. So far they have succeeded in gaining over 2,000, and that number is growing on a daily basis.
