KOLKATA, India - May 6, 2014 - PRLog -- DDr. Raj Shree Dhar is the in charge  Principal of Department of Higher Education, Government of Jammu and Kashmir.

An outstanding academician, she completed her M.SC in Mathematics from Kahsmir University at just the age of nineteen. She has done her M.Phil in Mathematics on the subject On location of the zeros of the polynomials in complex variables and Ph.D. in Mathematics of the topic  On  shared values and Differential Polynomials of the Entire and Meromorphic functions from the Jammu University. During the 1990s when terrorism was at its peak in the state, she was the only second student to complete her Ph.D. from the Jam mu University in 1995. She has organized various workshops, conferences, activities in the college and acted as convener/ member in different committees. To recognize her contribution towards education she was honored  with  the Best Teacher Award in 2008 and with the Certificate of Efficiency in 2004. She has acted as resource person in Institutions and T.V. Channel for disseminating the knowledge about Career in Mathematics. She has eight research papers to her credit that have been published in journals of National and International Repute. Her published works include AN INQUIRY INTO EVOLUTION OF MATHEMATICS (2013). She has so far guided 7 MPhil students in completing their thesis. In her 26 years of teaching profession she has taught mathematics to graduate and post graduate students and has participated in 38 conferences and workshops.

The present book starts with the history and the applications of the complex analysis and reaching to classical Nevanlinna theory which occupies the central place in complex analysis and ending with the application of Nevanlinna theory in Difference operators. The concepts are presented in an informal and conceptual style rather than in conventional definition or proof format. The author invites suggestions which could be considered for the improvement of the subsequent editions of this work.
