The Original Frankfurter And Tropical Drink Restaurant To Celebrate Anniversary

NEW YORK - May 5, 2014 - PRLog -- It has been a year since Papaya King opened its doors at 3 St. Marks Place, its second location in New York City. Located in the Historic Saint Marks neighborhood in the East Village, Papaya King has quickly become the go to destination for an afternoon meal or a late night snack. Time may have flown over the past year, but Papaya King is making it a point to not forget those that have made the restaurant a success. On Saturday, May 10th, Papaya King will host a celebration dedicated to those that have enjoyed their Original Tropical Drinks of New York and World Famous Grilled Frankfurters over the year. The party takes place at 3 St. Marks Place New York, NY 10003 from 12pm - 6pm.

Enjoy the World Famous Grilled Frankfurters for only $1 from 12pm – 6pm while Mustafa Alexander of Steel Drum Vibes plays from 12pm – 2pm, Logan Baldwin performs his live mash-ups on the drums from 2pm – 4pm and DJ Emulax spins from 4pm – 6pm. The Papaya King Brand Ambassadors be on site sampling frozen tropical drinks and giving away tons of prizes. Last but not least, Hou-Tien Cheng, the 1976 US Master of Paper Cutting, will bring his free-form paper-cutting to you for free.

The Papaya King on St. Marks Place is not the same as your grandparents may remember it, when they went to The Original on 86^th Street. Adding a plethora of fried items including; Oreos, Twinkies and Pretzel Bites, a giant projection screen, Old School Arcade Games, Foosball and blasting music, it fits right in at its home on St. Marks. The next step in the Papaya King group is the launch of a food truck, which will be hitting the streets Summer 2014.
