A new brick façade covers the entire structure with accent brick to highlight the curves of the new station and project a clean, modern image. The existing apparatus building is capped with a new cornice clad in the same stucco material as the in the new building, providing design continuity. The building site was narrow and deep, proving to be a challenge with location and layout of the new station. By keeping the apparatus bays intact, Bobbitt effectively located the addition to minimize the impact on the site. Architrave, Inc.
