Endeavour Launches MD Anderson’s Mobile Application for Patients

AUSTIN, Texas - April 28, 2014 - PRLog -- The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center selected Endeavour for designing and developing the mobile patient application.

The mobile application *(MDA App Link) enhances the MD Anderson patient experience and is part of the organization’s delivery of quality cancer care and exceptional customer service.

An essential characteristic of the MD Anderson patient mobile application is to facilitate patients in viewing their appointment schedules, as well as in requesting new appointments. The application empowers MD Anderson patients with access to educational material in pdf and video formats, as well as their personal health records, news from MD Anderson, and the ability to connect with the organization through social media. It also enables user friendly data search capabilities to support patients in getting directions to appointments and access to important details about on-site programs, services and amenities, as well as contact information for MD Anderson departments.

Endeavour showcased their mobility understanding and mHealth solution implementation capabilities in building this mobile solution. The solution is built on industry standard practices and protects Personally Identifiable Information (PII), and Protected Health Information (PHI).
