Lesli Gooch a "Phony Weasel" on Budget Deficit Issue, Says Local Leader
Virginia-based California congressional candidate Lesli Gooch says nothing about her position on budget deficits (or almost any other issue) on her public website. "Lesli Gooch is a mess," says leader.
Unfortunately, voters in California's 31st congressional district might never know before the June primary.
Gooch, a volunteer community representative in Alexandria, Virginia, is a candidate for California's 31st congressional seat. CA-31 Clean Slate supports the election of Danny Tillman and plans to release an ad supporting Tillman in the next week.
LESLI GOOCH'S POSITIONS
CA-31 Clean Slate examined Lesli Gooch's official campaign website to understand what her positions are on major political and policy issues. A search for the word “deficit” on her campaign website turned up zero results on April 23, 2014. Searches for abortion, Afghanistan, marriage, gun, minimum wage, security, or spending also turned up zero results.

LESLI GOOCH CONTROVERSIES
Since announcing her candidacy, Gooch's campaign has been plagued by controversies. She was a lobbyist for indicted real estate developer Jeffrey Burum; she slammed a reporter for questioning her voting/residency history; BuzzFeed published an article alleging the purchase of Facebook friends (from Thailand...);
"Lesli Gooch is a mess. She makes career politicians look noble," Vang said. "Making sure she never gets elected should be every voter's goal."
