Author Nshan Erganian Publishes Contemporary Drama

ST. JOSEPH, Mo. - April 18, 2014 - PRLog -- Nshan Erganian has written his first book, Keeper of the Mountain, published by Amazing Things Press.

Dr. Erganian was born and raised in St. Joseph, Missouri. His father survived the Turkish massacres of the Armenian people in the early part of the 20th century and came to America as a boy for the opportunity of freedom. He became a well-respected merchant and married Rose Sarkisian. The couple had four children, one of which is Dr. Nshan Erganian, the author of Keeper of the Mountain.

The author’s life has included successful careers as an educator, public school superintendent, healthcare administrator, and professional consultant. During his career, Dr. Erganian was named as “Missouri's Outstanding Administrator” by the Missouri Community Education Association. At one point, he and his wife, Marylin, a staff assistant to a United States Congressman for sixteen years, decided to leave the hustle-bustle of the corporate and political world and purchased two commercial orchards in Missouri, which they rejuvenated and operated for many years.

Nshan Erganian is a member of the St. Joseph Writer’s Guild. Keeper of the Mountain is his first novel. His other writings include the short stories Mom Was A Baseball Legend and A Grandparent’s Guide to Caring for Twin Toddlers.

Keeper of the Mountain is an adult drama about a kidnapped young woman and the man who helps to rescue her: Susan Clark is beginning a new chapter in her life as she drives to Auburn, Missouri, to begin her first teaching job. She’s young, vibrant and has an engaging personality that the children will fondly remember long after they are out of school. She’s thankful that Dr. Mark Sarkisian hired her for the job, and soon she’ll be praying that he can save her life. If her chronic disease doesn’t kill her, her captors will…

Dr. Erganian will be selling and signing his books at a joint book launch party on April 26^th at the Glass Eye Gallery in the Tobiason Studio, 302 South 8^th Street, St. Joseph, Missouri from noon to 4 p.m. Four other authors from Amazing Things Press will be there along with artists exhibiting their work. Refreshments will be served and there will be prize drawings.
