Kids Rule Academy Recognized as Wisconsin’s Newest Elite Pre-School and Day Care Center
MEQUON, Wis. - April 15, 2014 - PRLog -- Kids Rule Academy, located in the heart of Mequon at 2920 W. Mequon Road, has been making news for their uncompromising approach to child day care and preschool. Alex Mazur, owner and operations manager of Kids rule Academy, was recently featured on TMJ4’s The Morning Blend as well as Metro Parent Magazine to share the story.
Kids Rule Academy was born from the dissatisfaction Mazur felt when enrolling his daughter in local day care centers. He felt there was a lack of emphasis on education as local day care centers. Mazur explains, “Kids Rule Academy was designed not to be just another babysitting service, we are truly an education center.” Mazur continued, “There's a successful balance we've created between the best attributes of a great day care center with the educational methods of Reggio Amelia and Dr. Maria Montessori. It's our own unique combined approach to care and curriculum. ”
Kids Rule Academy raised the standards for Milwaukee-area day care centers by installing webcams within all of the classrooms. While unorthodox, the webcams offer a level of security and transparency that goes beyond the typical day care center. “Our webcams are hugely popular with the parents,” says Mazur. “There's nothing like being able to check-in with the webcam and to see your child engaged with others in our environment, especially when so many parents themselves have a separation anxiety after being with their baby full-time for so many years. It's a big step for everyone involved and we think if anything, it helps.”
While cost, location and trust are the biggest factors when choosing a day care center, the education curriculum should also be at the top of parent's minds.
