AOVC Autumn Run through County Down

COUNTY DOWN, Northern Ireland - April 15, 2014 - PRLog -- The Association of Old Vehicle Clubs in Northern Ireland better known as "the AOVC" finish their season this year with their Autumn Run on Saturday 6th September.

This is an all day run driving on scenic roads in South Down taking in some spectacular views.

The day starts at 9.30 am at Hillmount, 56/58 Upper Braniel Road, Gilnahirk, Belfast one of Northern Ireland's most popular Garden Centres.  All entrants and their passengers will start the event with a hearty cooked breakfast before heading south in convoy.    There will be a picnic lunch stop at a scenic location on the route and then it will be back to driving through the countryside finishing up at Golf Links House in Newcastle for a 4 course evening meal and presentation of Finisher's Awards to all drivers around 4.45 pm.

All makes and models of vehicles registered on or before 31st December 1993 are eligible to enter.

To comply with the necessary legislation an 11/1 Form will be submitted for this event.

To enter you need to complete an Entry Form which can be downloaded from the Events Page of the AOVC website http://www.aovc.co.uk    Closing date for receipt of entries is Friday 22nd August 2014.
