WACO, Texas - April 4, 2014 - PRLog -- The Texas Brazos Trail, a Central Texas tourism organization, has published a brochure that features information on spring and summer festivals and celebrations across Central Texas.

The brochure features twenty-three events across the Texas Brazos Trail region, an eighteen-county area in Central Texas. From the Dr Pepper Museum’s Dog Days of Summer, to Elgin’s Western Days, to a Civil War re-enactment at the Confederate Reunion Grounds in Mexia, there’s entertainment and activities to keep visitors busy all season.

The brochure can be found in local or state travel information centers, or it can be downloaded from TexasBrazosTrail.com.

The Texas Brazos Trail is a regional tourism initiative of the award winning Heritage Trails Program of the Texas Historical Commission. The program seeks to increase economic development in our regional communities through increased tourism and historic preservation.

The Texas Brazos Trail Region includes the following counties: Bastrop, Bell, Bosque, Brazos, Burleson, Coryell, Falls, Freestone, Grimes, Hamilton, Lee, Leon, Limestone, McLennan, Madison, Milam, Robertson and Williamson.  Our office is located in the Dr Pepper Museum in downtown Waco.
