EGL Executive Coach Training Offers First Ever Houston Program

HOUSTON - April 1, 2014 - PRLog -- EGL Executive Coach Training is proud to announce that it is now offering it’s Foundational and Executive Coach Training Programs in Houston TX. According to the International Coach Federation (ICF), EGL is currently the only Texas based organization to provide an in-person ICFAccredited Coach Training. Held at the Doubletree hotel in downtown Houston beginning May 15, the Foundational and Executive programs are designed to build a solid understanding of the craft of coaching as well as create a platform of fluency in working with executives. The programs are tailored for those interested in becoming a certified executive or life coach, coaches seeking advanced training, and executives wanting to master their leadership skills.  Curriculum Director and Instructor Jeff Evans says,

“Organizational and leadership change are critical in today’s business environment. Today, companies recognize that long-term viability necessitates dynamic leadership and we are proud to be a part of training individuals to fill this need. In fact, the vast majority of our consultants were identified when they were taking this course.”

EGL’s programs are built on a unique combination of core coaching competencies, Gestalt models and practice, NLP, the biology of beliefs, the neuro-science of leadership and change, organization development, systems theory, and EGL’s time-proven methodologies for coaching. The trainings provide a combination of lectures, drills and skill-building practice, mentoring and feedback, as well as demonstrations of skills and competencies from experienced coaches. Practicum Director and Instructor Justina Vail states,

“The combination of theory and practical experience helps these future coaches to tap into their innate talents and then apply them in real-world scenarios.”
