Shane Warne lasts just 10 seconds in new Sportingbet.com.au tv commercial

March 27, 2014 - PRLog -- The Australian cricket legend, who last month earned ten thousand dollars from Sportingbet for The Shane Warne Foundation for copping 50 paintballs to the chest, was bet another five thousand dollars by the online bookmaker that he couldn’t last a round in the ring with a professional female kickboxer.

The challenge, which will air nationally from Sunday as part of Sportingbet’s new advertising campaign, proved to be Warnie’s most punishing to date.

“I expected to last a little longer than 10 seconds to be honest,” Warne said.

“She really packed a punch. After I hit the canvas I felt like I’d been hit by a truck.”

Warne may have failed to go the distance but Sportingbet was satisfied he’d done enough to win the bet.

“Warnie manned up so we’ll pay up and donate another $5,000 to The Shane Warne Foundation,” said Sportingbet CEO Michael Sullivan.
