Carpet Cellar opens Second outlet on MG Road

DELHI/NCR, India - March 18, 2014 - PRLog -- Carpet Cellar proudly announces the opening of its second store in New Delhi, on the fashion style Mile of Mehrauli – Gurgaon road better known as MG Road. It is conveniently located near the Sultanpur Metro station. Both the stores including the one in the upscale South Delhi colony of Anand Lok are open daily between 1030 am and 1830 pm. The new store will cater to the growing market of South West Delhi as well as the ‘Manhattan of India’ – Gurgaon.

The Carpet Cellar is a specialist Gallery for the finest woven treasures. Conceived by India’s most respected curator of carpets, Mr. Sheel Chandra, The Carpet Cellar is considered a Mecca for certified antique carpets, perfectly executed recreations, modern designs, as well as kilims, durries, shawls and textiles. Amongst other accolades, Mr. Chandra is known for having the one of the largest private collection of Persian carpets in existence. The Carpet Cellar houses a range of hand woven and hand knotted masterpieces, carefully selected by Mr. Chandra for their uniqueness and brilliance over the past four decades. The brand has become synonymous for high end and exquisite carpets in Delhi and beyond.

The collection at both the Carpet Cellar outlets reveals a variety of styles and designs that will appeal to a wide range of tastes.
