Alan Miller Public Relations Named Public Relations Agency of Record for Professional Bull Riders

Agency is Selected to Represent Professional Bull Riders (PBR) in their 21st Anniversary Season

NEW YORK - March 10, 2014 - PRLog -- New York-based public relations agency Alan Miller Public Relations, Ltd. (AMPR) announced today that it has been retained as the national public relations agency of record for the 2014 season of the Professional Bull Riders, coinciding with the PBR’s 21st anniversary.  Starting with the kickoff of the Built Ford Tough Series’ recent season opener at Madison Square Garden, AMPR has been tasked with building the PBR brand through national media exposure and supporting various Built Ford Tough Series local engagements including their recent stops in New York City and Chicago.  Through this agreement, AMPR continues the role it began in 2013 when it was initially signed as PBR’s national public relations agency of record.

Alan Miller Public Relations, which opened its doors in 2001, will utilize its extensive experience in live event publicity to maximize coverage for the PBR’s 2014 season to build awareness for the brand’s televised arena competitions on CBS-TV and CBS Sports Network, the PBR’s various business announcements, and overall notoriety for the sport and its two and four-legged athletes. The agency will be responsible for garnering national media coverage, expanding the brand’s presence through various media and community events, and supporting PBR’s in-house PR Director on overall public relations strategy.

"Since the first competitions in 1993, PBR has elevated both their brand and the sport of bull riding to become the fastest growing sport in America," said Miller.  "We truly enjoyed working with PBR on their 20th anniversary season and gained a tremendous amount knowledge about the sport and its personalities.  Our dedicated team is proud of the work we accomplished on PBR’s behalf and is excited to work with them to raise the bar even higher for the 2014 season."

“AMPR was a very valuable asset to us last year.  They really helped our team raise the profile of our sport and its athletes.  We look forward to another good season with them on board,” said Jim Haworth, Chairman and CEO of the PBR.

The agency has handled PR for some of the most popular brands in live touring entertainment including Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey, Disney On Ice, Disney Live!, Monster Jam, and Dreamworks’ How To Train Your Dragon Live Spectacular, as well as other sports, music and consumer clients.  The agency also currently works with the Drama Desk-nominated production Bello Mania starring comic daredevil Bello Nock at the New Victory Theater, the Long Island Children’s Museum, the Salmagundi Club of New York and Fencing In The Schools.  With more than 20 years experience in the field of public relations, agency President Alan Miller and his associates are excited to be working with PBR as it turns 21.
