Complimentary Lecture to Offer Life-Changing Cancer Information

GREENBELT, Md. - March 7, 2014 - PRLog -- 21^st Century Oncology of Maryland, part of the nation’s largest provider of state-of-the-art radiation therapy, is pleased to announce a complimentary lecture series titled “Insights into Cancer.” The lecture series will provide the local community with up-to-date information, practical advice and answers to questions about breast health and breast cancer from a leading Radiation Oncologist in the field.

Denise R. Gooch, M.D., a Board Certified Radiation Oncologist, will be hosting the event, “Breast Health for Life: Risk Reduction, Early Detection and Breast Cancer Treatment Options.”

The lecture will be held on Wednesday, Mar. 26, 2014 at the Hilton Garden Inn – Greenbelt, Dogwood Room, 7810 Walker Drive, Greenbelt, MD 20770, from 6:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. A light buffet will be provided.

Dr. Gooch earned her medical degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine in
Washington, D.C. She completed fellowship training in Radiation Oncology with the Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center in Columbus, Ohio.
