Health, Wellness and Financial Security Seminar Planned for March 12 in Chicago
A Health, Wellness and Financial Security seminar will be presented by Dr. Vesna Skul and Dr. Patricia O'Brien on March 12. They will discuss why stress and toxins make us sick and how to plan for your future.

For 30 years, Dr. Skul has treated women in all phases of their lives and speaks on a wide range of topics to professional and lay audiences around the country. Her areas of expertise within women’s health include menopause management and the integration of alternative and complementary medicine into mainstream medical practice.
Recognized by her peers, Dr. Skul has been among Best Doctors for Women in Chicago as reported by Chicago Magazine, for nearly a decade. In 2014, she was named “Top Primary Care Doctors in Chicago” by Chicago Magazine. In 2013, she was featured as Chicago Super Doctors, by The New York Times Magazine. In 2011, Dr. Skul was ranked as The Nation’s Top Doctors by US News and awarded Super Doctor in 2012 and 2013.
Dr. O’Brien has been a key note speaker at major health care events including the World Health Care Congress, HIMSS, Global Health Institute. She is considered a leading expert on consumer directed care and was featured in Forbes and the Harvard Business Review along with recognition with Goldman Sachs with whom she partnered on a two series symposium that brought expert thought leaders together including CMS, NIH, the President’s office and CEOs from major providers, payers and pharmaceutical companies.
She also served in an advisory and teaching role for UIC’s School of Public Health where her focus was on public health policy and the impact on our current healthcare system.
Dr. O’Brien currently serves as a client services advisor for major insurer where she focuses on health care planning through home health and long term care planning as well as the over 65 market. She also serves clients in financial positioning with her firms financial advisory team.
