Follow on Google News | Cheating Daylight takes home 'Rock Artist of the Year' title at 3rd Annual Artists In Music AwardsNorthern California Rock/Pop band of brothers, Cheating Daylight took home the highest honor for Rock Artist of the Year at the 3rd Annual Artists In Music Awards ceremony on February 7, at Jon Lovitz Theatre in Hollywood, CA.
By: Cheating Daylight The awards ceremony began when Cheating Daylight put on a stellar performance to kick off the star-studded event at the legendary Jon Lovitz Theatre (formerly B.B. Kings) inside Universal Citywalk in Hollywood. The band appeared on the Red Carpet in front of dozens of cameras along side Artist In Cinema recipient Christina DeRosa (Extreme Movie, Kings of Van Nuys), K.D. Aubert (Turning Point), Joe Torrey (The Power of Love), and Olden Polynice (Former NBA player for the Seattle Supersonics center). Later in the evening, Cheating Daylight was invited back on the stage to receive the Rock Artist of the Year award. For the band of brothers, this award makes it their 10th accolade of their young careers. In 2013 alone, Cheating Daylight was awarded New Artist of the Year at the Malibu Music Awards, RAW Artist of the Year at RAWards in Los Angeles, Rock Single of the Year for “Road to Somewhere” at the 23th Annual Los Angeles Music Awards making them the youngest and most decorated independent rock/pop artist inside of just three years. Cheating Daylight is currently in the studio working on their third album scheduled for release later this year. The band will be announcing a West Coast and National tour coming this spring.
