Flagler County Education Foundation Board Members and Committee Chairs Nancy Carlton and Matt Maxwell are pleased to be hosting one of the season’s most popular fundraising events – Mardi Gras!

Proceeds from the event are matched dollar-for-dollar using dollars awarded from the state legislature to fund FCEF’s Take Stock in Children College Scholarship Program and the foundation’s teacher grant programs. The foundation is a 501-c-3 and depends on community support to operate its programs.

What:  11th Annual Mardi Gras & Casino Night

Where:  Halifax County Club   6 p.m.

Cost:  $100 per person. Sponsorship opportunities available

This year, guests are asked to bring a new pair of shoes for children 7-12 years old (kids sizes 3.5-7) for the Henry Reid Shoes4Kids project.Shoes are distributed to children through the Foundation’s STUFF Bus program.

In the true spirit of New Orleans, guests will don their finest festive attire, masks, and beads to celebrate the 11th Annual Mardi Gras & Casino Night.  Guests will dine on elegant Southern Cuisine while revelers exchange “gaming bucks” for chips to be used at the various game tables.  Chips will be “cashed in” for the chance to win fabulous prizes.Guests will enjoy table seating and tables can be reserved for groups of 8 or 10.

The Flagler County Education Foundation is a a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit direct-support organization committed to generating financial support to enhance the educational programs benefiting Flagler County Public Schools.
