This event will take place at the Will Rogers Memorial Center in Fort Worth March 1st – 8th. A vital event for budget-stretching Metroplex families, as well as a Twice-Rated Top Ten Sale in America by consignmentmommies.com, Just Between Friends Fort Worth is announcing a new partnership with Gladney Center for Adoption for JBF’s Wall of Wishes. This partnership provides families with needed items they may not have access to otherwise. The semi-annual sale features thousands of items that include name-brand and boutique children’s name-brand spring and summer attire; baby equipment, electronics, and toys. In addition to benefiting Gladney Center for Adoption, a portion of the sale proceeds as well as unsold merchandise is donated to local charities, Community Enrichment Center’s Open Arms Program, Teen Lifeline, and Fort Worth Metro. For the “Wall of Wishes Project,” sale shoppers will be able to select cards off a wall that lists items that will be provided to birth mothers, adoptive parents, and children of Gladney Center for Adoption. Shoppers are able to fill bags provided by JBF at the sale to be turned in when they are finished shopping. Shoppers are able to write words of encouragement to recipients to be included with the gifts they have purchased for them. An added attraction this year will be the Family Fun Fest Indoor Carnival held on Saturday, March 8th. This indoor carnival features face painting, bounce house, crafts, and carnival games. This event is open to Metroplex families at no cost. “Our spring sale is always a fun time as people begin to look for the clothing and items they need for all the upcoming warm weather activities," “We expect more shoppers than ever this season. Consignment shopping has gone beyond being a passing trend, stated Morrison. “More people than ever are turning to consignment shopping whether it is to stretch their budget, for environmental reasons, or they just like scoring good deals.” “One thing we are very excited about this year is our first-ever Family Fun Fest Free Indoor Carnival on Saturday, March 8th,” said Morrison. “We wanted to do something that would be a fun, must-do event for area families. People may come and spend the day with us without spending a penny shopping. There will carnival games, face painting, a bounce house, crafts, etc. This is our way of giving back to the community that has been so good to us here at JBF Fort Worth!” End
