Of these items, 99% of them can be recycled. Clothing makes up almost 5% of the total garbage in landfills. Additionally as a vital event for Metroplex families, Just Between Friends Fort Worth is also announcing a new partnership with NewDay Servicesfor JBF’s Wall of Wishes. This partnership provides for fractured families and their children during difficult times. The semi-annual sale features thousands of items that include name-brand and boutique children’s fall, winter, and holiday attire; baby equipment, electronics, and toys. In addition to benefiting NewDay Services, a portion of the sale proceeds as well as unsold merchandise is donated to local charities,Community Enrichment Center’s Open Arms Program, Teen Lifeline and Fort Worth Metro For the “Wall of Wishes,” sale shoppers will be able to select cards off a wall that lists items that will be provided to client families of NewDay Services. Shoppers are able to fill bags provided by JBF at the sale to turn in when they finish shopping. Shoppers are able to write words of encouragement to recipients to be included with the gifts they have purchased for them. JBF Fort Worth’s Family Fun Fest Indoor Carnival will once again be held on Saturday, September 6th. This indoor carnival features face painting, bounce house, crafts, and carnival games.
