Follow on Google News | Key appointments emphasise 200% growth ambitions for 2014SortRefer, the Derby-based online conveyancing provider, is to create 10 new Business Development Manager roles across England and Wales to meet growing demand for its intermediary and broker-centric products
By: SortRefer Derby-based SortRefer caters for the needs of mortgage brokers and financial advisers by providing market-leading residential and commercial conveyancing solutions, residential surveys, specialist property reports and energy performance certificates. Due to a number of important strategic developments – including agreeing to provide online conveyancing solutions to more than 500 Appointed Representatives that belong to the Mortgage Advice Bureau – the company is now seeking to strengthen its sales team by hiring 10 Business Development Managers by the end of March 2014. “We’re growing at a phenomenal rate of knots,” commented SortRefer director, Kevin Tunnicliffe. “Among mortgage brokers and financial advisers there is a real appetite for our online products and services, and these new jobs will enable us to meet the demand that is out there – and accelerate our growth plans. “The new positions are located in England and Wales for the time being. We have plans to recruit in Scotland, but that will come in our next growth phase.” Since its launch in July 2012, more than 2,000 mortgage brokers and financial advisers have registered with SortRefer. All have been attracted to the site’s extensive range of products – including a market-leading £199 residential mortgage legal deal – and the hassle-free opportunities that exist to earn competitive commissions from products and services that sit outside mortgages, pensions and personal investments. “Our goal is to sign-up a further 4,000 intermediaries by the end of the year, which is very achievable in the current climate,” added Kevin Tunnicliffe. “We're increasingly told we're a 'broker and intermediary champion' – and that’s something the 10 new business development managers will have to live up to."
