Old Dominion Mobile Canning Set to Expand

RICHMOND, Va. - Feb. 13, 2014 - PRLog -- Old Dominion Mobile Canning, located in central Virginia and serving breweries in Virginia and north-central North Carolina, today announces that it is preparing to double its canning capacity.  As the first mobile canning solution in the eastern United States, Old Dominion Mobile Canning has experienced rapid acceptance and growth requiring the addition of a second “mobilized” Wild Goose Canning Technologies WGC-250 canning line.

“We have filled and sealed over a million cans for Virginia and North Carolina craft breweries since launching our operation in April 2013, and expect to fill over two million cans in 2014” said Michael Horn, Old Dominion Mobile Canning Founder and Managing Director. “Production requirements from existing customers has our original mobile canning line operating at full capacity and the demand from additional breweries for mobile canning services is requiring us to deploy a second line as soon as possible,” added Horn.

Presently, Old Dominion Mobile Canning services 8 breweries with 16 craft beer labels and expects the number of customers to increase to 15 and craft beer labels to 34 during 2014.  “This growth is proof-positive of our business model and the growing acceptance and movement to cans in the craft beer industry” said Mr. Horn.
