Shermco Industries Sponsors First-Ever PowerTest Conference App

IRVING, Texas - Feb. 7, 2014 - PRLog -- Today, Shermco Industries announced that it is the sponsor of the first-ever smart phone app for the PowerTest 2014 conference, recently rolled out by NETA, the InterNational Electrical Testing Association.

The app is now available for download at Apple’s App Store or Google Play, so that on Monday, March 3, when electrical power system industry leaders, engineers, and technicians converge for PowerTest 2014 in Denver, Colo., they will hold an empowering new tool.  The app is designed to deliver the easiest and most customizable guide to the electrical maintenance and safety event to date.

App users will be able to enhance their conference experience in many ways. They can see complete conference information on their mobile device, including seminar schedules, speaker bios, and facility maps and read up on items of interest well before the conference begins. Users can also select and create their own custom schedule of events to attend from a schedule of 27 unique, 45-minute technical presentations, a three-hour symposium on power transformers, and hospitality receptions.
