Park City Television Announces High Definition Broadcast

PARK CITY, Utah - Feb. 6, 2014 - PRLog -- Park City Television began delivering its broadcast in high definition across Northern Utah Thursday thanks to a series of equipment upgrades that took 16 months to complete. This is part of Park City Television's commitment to Northern Utah to meet the growing demand for active lifestyle and entertainment focused content for television and online viewers.

Park City Television invested in a series of upgrades including a HD studio, HD control room, HD cameras, a new website with HD live streaming and now a HD digital microwave and transmitter atop Quarry Mountain. The result is viewers across Northern Utah can now watch Park City Television on a new digital HD channel, PCTV-HD on channel 45.1.

“This is a huge milestone for Park City Television as well as for Northern Utah”, said Stanton D. Jones, Owner and General Manager of Park City Television.   “We have been working on our ability to broadcast in digital HD for many years and it has finally been realized.   I am excited for our viewers, our advertisers and everyone in the community that has supported Park City Television over the past 27 years.  This is just the beginning of many great things that will be happening at Park City Television.”

With the addition of the new over the air HD digital channel 45.1, Park City Television can be viewed on Comcast channels 17 and 102, and is available world-wide on our new website at ParkCity.TV.
