-- Unmanned Vehicle University announces its first graduates from the Certificate in Unmanned Systems Project Management Program. This 48 week program is for students who want to enter the Unmanned Aircraft Systems Career Field. A high school diploma or above is required for entry into the program. Students receive a kit and build their own UAV for possible use in a business. All courses are online. The project management course includes preparation for the Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) certification by the Project Management Institute (PMI). PMI certification formally recognizes an individuals competency in project management process and is widely acknowledged as a significant accomplishment by practitioners in the field. There are over 1000 companies building the unmanned vehicle, parts and sensors and there will be thousands more in the next several years. Graduates will be able to start their own UAV business or enter the unmanned systems career field.
Unmanned Vehicle University (UVU) is the only University in the world licensed to grant Doctorate and Masters Degrees in Unmanned (Air, Ground, Sea and Space) Systems Engineering and a Certificate in UAS Project Management as a totally online curriculum.
