Unmanned Vehicle University Announces First Maters Graduate

June 30, 2014 - PRLog -- Unmanned Vehicle University announces its first Masters Degree Graduate in Unmanned Systems Engineering, Mrs Chelsea Garin of Vista California. Mrs Garin became employed with a California Unmanned Systems company while she was still a stundent at the university. "Its a trend thats evolving at the school, we recently had a student in the Masters Degree with only 3 courses under his belt, hired at a large UAV company in San Diego" says University President Dr Jerry LeMieux."

One of the founding principles of the school is a focus on systems engineering to make the vehicles more reliable and safe. Each course is UAV focused with many being taught for the first time in the world. The next classes offered starting July 7 are Remote Sensing and UAV Flight Test. Two graduates of the USAF Flight Test School will be teaching the course. One instructor created the first in the world UAV Flight Test Program at Edwards AFB, CA. Graduates will receive a certificate and patch.

Unmanned Vehicle University (UVU) is the first University in the world licensed to grant Doctorate and Masters Degrees in Unmanned (Air, Ground, Sea and Space) Systems Engineering and a Certificate in UAS Project Management as a totally online curriculum. The University’s primary focus area is on Unmanned Air, Ground, Sea and Space Systems education and training. Most of the faculty at the school have PhDs in engineering and combined experience of over 500 years. The schools UAV instructor pilots have combined experience of over 60,000 hours in Predator, Reaper, Global Hawk, Hermes, Heron, Aerostar and many small UAVs.
