Mike Broemmel to Speak on Mental Health Reform in 2014

Author-lecturer to address mental health reform at conferences and conventions throughout the year

Feb. 1, 2014 - PRLog -- Mike Broemmel, an author-lecturer based in Denver, Colorado, announced today that he will make presentations throughout the course of 2014 on mental health reform.

"The reality is that the current system of providing mental health care treatment in the United States is quite dysfunctional. A considerable number of mentally ill men and women, as well as children, simply are not receiving the services they must have," Broemmel explained in announcing his speaking tour for the year.

Mike Broemmel has been involved in advocating for people with mental health issues since the 1980s. He has served on the boards of directors of a number of different not-for-profit organizations dedicated to providing services to people with mental health conditions or brain disorders. He has written on mental health care reform extensively. He frequently speaks to groups on mental health reform in the United States.
