By: Emily Trogdon Last year the CRBR teamed up with “This is Noteworthy,” Smith added, “Last year we took the Bridge Run to another interactive level with the addition of the bands that played along the course. This year we are thrilled to elevate this entertainment experience and have such a well-known musician as Edwin McCain play for all of the Bridge Run participants.” McCain is a Greenville, SC native who is known for his romantic His songs "I'll Be" (1998) and "I Could Not Ask for More" (1999) were radio top-40 hits in the U.S., and five of his albums have reached the Billboard 200. His song “I’ll Be” was named one of the “Greatest Love Songs of All Time” according to VH1 and was voted “The Best Wedding Song Ever Written” by Dr. Phil viewers. The New York Times dubs McCain the “great American romantic,” as his music is heartfelt and soulful. The CRBR will also create a “Run with Me, Vol. 2” compilation CD of music from each of the bands that will soon be available for purchase at www.bridgerun.com.
