| ![]() 2000 Set to Discover Benefits of Meditation through tuja wellness 30-Day ChallengeBy: tuja wellness Meditation has been in the spotlight lately with John Hopkins University releasing the results of 47 clinical trials on the effects of meditation showing that meditation can help lower anxiety, stress, depression and even pain. This at a time of the year when many people are looking for ways to improve their health and find a better balance in their lives. Whether it’s New Years Resolutions or the recent scientific studies linking a meditation practice to better overall health, tuja is thrilled to see so many people willing to try something new and take the challenge. “Habits take 30 days to set,” explains event coordinator Erin Urton, “so we wanted to make sure that not only did we start everyone off slow, but we created an atmosphere where people could find a way to fit into their lives and feel supported along the way.” In addition to sending out the daily meditation recordings, tuja will also provide tips on succeeding at meditation and has created a Facebook group to allow participants to connect with one another. “Meditation can be a solitary practice, but we wanted participants to know they are not alone,” says Niki Boileau, the other event coordinator.
