Unlike urgent care centers, which are designed to handle non-life-threatening medical complaints, or free-standing emergency departments, Baylor Emergency Medical Center at Murphy will be a licensed hospital, providing clinical quality, and efficient operations. This facility is designed to provide an efficient, patient-centered experience.
