Follow on Google News | Padua, Italy’s Factory Club to host Emergenza on Sunday December 29thThe Factory Club will host the sounds of the Emergenza Rock Festival on Sunday December 29th, 2013.
Emergenza is the world's largest festival for up and coming unsigned bands. it holds concerts in more than 180 cities around the world. It features up and coming bands from across the globe. The festival is held in elimination rounds in different countries throughout the year. The first rounds are judged by the attending audience. The vote is open and audience members can vote as many times as they want and for as many bands as they choose. The final rounds are decided by a jury panel of professional judges. National winners are flown at Emergenza’s expense to Germany for the international finals. Emergenza also covers all costs for accommodations and local transportation. The international finals are held each August at the Taubertal Open Air Festival. The bands who make the international finals get the honor of sharing the bill and stage with some of rocks biggest stars. The international winner is crowned the “Best Band in the World” and wins a tour, promotion, studio time and musical instruments. Seven bands are scheduled to take to the Factory’s stage to compete in thirty minute sets: post hardcore band Cemento, hard rock band Zenaida Aurita, fusion funk band Granaio Club, rock 70‘s band Led Bridge, rock band General N.P., cross over band The Mushroom Crew and alternative rock band Shogun Legacy.
