Alternative locations in Bangkok to rent a condo

Working from east to west along the Sukhumvit line we start in the Ekkamai, Thong Lor and Phrom Phong areas. Here you will find some of Bangkok's most exclusive real estate, accompanied by high-class restaurants, nightlife and entertainment venues. For those that enjoy expensive wine bars and a rich way of living, Thong Lor is an especially attractive place to reside. And further along in Phrong Phong are a host of British and Irish pubs and the Emporium shopping mall.

Moving across town a few sois to the west there is the Asoke, Ploenchit and Chidlom areas. The atmosphere here heats up with the many bars and restaurants on the main Sukhumvit Road and inside the smaller sois from Asoke to soi 3. Further along is the more sedate and upmarket area of Lang Suan.

The top-grade condos here are the Athenee Residence in Ploenchit and The Address in Chidlom. Further along still is Siam with some of the best shopping malls in the city. This area is convenient for travel as this is where you can change from the Sukhumvit to the Silom lines on the BTS. A popular condo to rent in Siam is the low-rise Condo One Siam.

Staying on the Sukhumvit line and following it along you will come to Ari and Saphan Kwai, which have become rather chic these days although staying fairly quiet in comparison to areas like Asoke and Nana. Ari has many coffee houses and fashionable restaurants and one of the many quality condos for rent is the Noble Lite. Moving along a couple more BTS stops you will come to Saphan Kwai, a very quiet residential area. One of the best condos to rent here is The Haven.
