Charles L. Gibbs II Named Partner at DMP&H

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Jan. 24, 2014 - PRLog -- Driver, McAfee, Peek & Hawthorne, P.L. is pleased to announce effective January 1, 2014, Mr. Charles Gibbs II was named as a partner of the firm.  Mr. Gibbs’ professionalism and commitment to DMP&H will continue to provide leadership in the firm and ensure our clients are represented with the highest degree of excellence.

Mr. Gibbs joined DMP&H in 2009 focusing his practice on real estate law, with a particular emphasis on retail leasing and commercial real estate transactions. He counsels both landlords and tenants in all aspects of retail leasing and various other commercial real estate transactions.

Mr. Gibbs received a Bachelor of Arts degree in religion from Bowdoin College and a Juris Doctor degree, with honors, from the University of Florida.

Mr. Gibbs is admitted to the Virginia Bar and the Florida Bar.  He previously clerked for the Honorable David H. Adams, United States Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Virginia.  He previously worked for McGuireWoods LLP (Jacksonville, Florida) and Pappas, Metcalf, Jenks & Miller (Jacksonville, Florida) before joining DMP&H in 2009.
