Spring Camp at Triunfo YMCA Spring Camp

AGOURA HILLS, Calif. - Jan. 22, 2014 - PRLog -- Westlake Village, Calif.--The Triunfo YMCA, serving Westlake Village, Oak Park and Agoura Hills, is holding its spring camp from April 21 through 25 at the YMCA daycare facility at Willow Elementary School (29026 Laro Dr., Agoura Hills). The camp coincides with spring school break.

The weeklong camp will include onsite activities as well as a walking trip to Sumac Park, a visit from Fire Station 89 and a field trip to Harley’s Bowl in Simi Valley. "The week is filled with positive, fun activities designed to build athletic, social and interpersonal skills," says Chrissy Withers, the Y's lead program director. Kids in kindergarten through eighth grades can participate.

Every day of camp has a different theme. Besides the field trips, other activities planned for the week include sandcastle building, a scavenger hunt, arts and crafts, sports and a community service project for the Agoura Hills Animal Shelter.

The camp is run by Triunfo YMCA's licensed daycare. Extended camp hours are 6:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. The cost per camper for the full week is $205.
