ACI’s 4th Medical Device Patents Summit Boasts a “Who’s Who”of the Medical Device Patent Bar
“As patents continue to play an increasingly key role in the medical device space, ACI offers the most up-to-date and comprehensive program for industry lawyers and experts to share their insights and strategies in the ever-changing legal landscape,” said Jeremy Lowe, a experienced patent litigator with Axinn, Veltrop, & Harkrider in Connecticut and founder of the "Medical Device Litigation Forum,” the top LinkedIn discussion group for medical device patent issues.
Highlights of this year’s program include a panel of experienced federal Judges discussing the kinds of arguments and claims they find most effective when presiding over a medical device IP dispute; an Ethics session on inequitable conduct in medical device patent practice; an interactive mock Markman hearing and claim construction strategy session; a panel of in-house counsel discussing cost management in high-stakes medical device patent litigation; and new sessions on NPEs in the medical device space, the Medtronic v. Boston Scientific case, and willful infringement post-Bard v. Gore.
