The Chocolate 5k comes to Birmingham

BESSEMER, Ala. - Jan. 14, 2014 - PRLog -- NR Road Racing will hold The Chocolate 5k in Birmingham, AL on Saturday February 1, 2014 at 3:00 PM to benefit the Autism Society of Alabama. The event will be held on the Veteran's Park at 4800 Valleydale Rd, Hoover AL 35216. Race registration is $35 for individuals and $30 per person for teams of 4 or more.  There will be a $40 walk up registration fee. All ages are welcome, however, you must register anyone six and older. We also welcome anyone who would like to volunteer!

NR Road Racing presents a chocolatey good time. We are offering you sweet treats to keep you going throughout the 5k. Yes there will still be water stations, but for those of you with a sweet tooth, you can also have a little piece of joy. Enjoy a family friendly three mile course with your friends, family, and other choc-aholics strangers. Doesn’t matter how fast or old you are; everyone is welcome to participate and join in the fun! After the race, we’ll be still partying and filling up with chocolate. You are invited to hangout and party to the music and have some more chocolate on us! Family and friends are always encouraged to join in the party at the end!
