Meet improved SQL Formatter in dbForge SQL Complete v.4.5

Jan. 10, 2014 - PRLog -- Devart team gladly announces the new release of dbForge SQL Complete v.4.5 with the improved SQL Formatter. The new version contains a lot of features and improvements actualized by the qualified developers to make SQL coding more intuitive and efficient

Supported Features:

1. Visual Studio 2013 Integration

SQL Complete 4.5 provides integration for Visual Studio 2013.

The code completion feature is available in Microsoft Visual Studio 2013 (Professional, Premium and Ultimate editions).

2. New code formatter features were added:

- Add empty line after GO

- Enclose identifiers within square brackets []

- Add parentheses when inserting functions

- Enable autoformat words while typing

- Alias Text Case - As in declaration

Now thecode formatter functionality is available, even if SQL Complete is disabled.

The newly implemented Do not format tagoptionenables to format the whole SQL document in the editor ignoring selected code fragments which users do not want to be formatted.

3. Refresh suggestions cache

The New option is added: Refresh suggestions cache on detecting changes on a server.

Developers can take advantage of theautomatic suggestions cache refresh by specified time feature.

4. Code completion support is significantly expanded.

- SET IDENTITY INSERT tables suggestion

- XML variables suggestion in the FROM statement

And other improvements are made.
